The story of Comfort Emmanson, the Ibom Air passenger whose removal from a flight went viral on August 10, has taken a remarkable turn.
Abuja-based businessman and real estate developer, Emmanuel Chukwudi Nwafor, has pledged to gift Emmanson a plot of land in Katampe Extension, Abuja.
In his statement, Nwafor said: “Tell her to visit my office. She can pick the plot she wants and begin building immediately.”
This gesture comes after Emmanson’s ordeal, which saw her arrested, briefly jailed at Kirikiri Prison, and initially banned from flying with Ibom Air — a sanction the airline has since lifted.
Since then, Emmanson has received waves of public sympathy, alongside gifts, job offers, and ambassadorial roles. The promised land in Abuja now adds to the support she has gained.
